Notice of Copyrights

Our plans are copyright protected by law. Simply, that means you are breaking a federal law if you decide to copy, print, or redraw any of the plans on this site and either build from the sales drawings available or have a professional redraw the plans for you. Many hours and creative talent have been put into all of our designs by the designers and publishing owner.

The biggest misconception for many people is that when you change a plan or modify it in any way, that the design is considered new and the copyrights are void. This is the costliest mistake individuals can make. The fact is that any plan used for reference is still considered the "Parent" plan and any "Child" designs derived from the original are 100% protected by the initial copyright

If you like a particular plan but want to make changes, it is not only in your best interest to contact us for information, but will likely take you less time and money than if you were to illegaly reproduce the designs.

OrderHousePlans.com makes every effort to protect the works of the designers. Sophisticated software allows us to monitor every action taken on our web site down to who and when a plan is viewed and/or printed. We record every IP and ISP provider in order to maintain security throughout your visit. Any suspicious activity will be followed up thanks to the cooperation of State and Local authorities. City permit departments and plan reviewers take construction and design very seriously and are aware of fraudulent or suspected offenders.

Reuse or altering of the plans for unlawful distribution is prohibited and is cause for legal action. Purchaser's right is limited to a one-time use. All sales are final and non-refundable.
